It is difficult to forgive those who have hurt us. Though we cannot change how others treat us, we can still choose to respond to them with kindness. In our own strength, it is impossible. Which is why we must draw the strength to forgive from Jesus Christ who has lovingly forgiven us in spite of all our iniquities. Love others as He has loved us. Forgive others as He has forgiven us.
