Have you ever found yourself loving God but hating others? Jesus teaches us that one cannot exist without the other. We cannot hate others and claim to love God. Likewise, we cannot claim to live in Him if we do not walk in obedience to Him. In the moments when we start to question ourselves, let us turn our eyes to the cross. Jesus’ sacrifice is the perfect example of selflessly loving others and living in obedience to God’s will.
